Anchor Publicity, the Nashville-based public relations firm founded by entertainment publicist Colleen Lippert, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in business, marking a decade of amplifying artists, elevating stories, and creating impactful campaigns across the entertainment industry.
Founded in 2016, Anchor Publicity was built on a passion for connecting people with powerful narratives and a commitment to helping artists and creators bring their visions to life. What began as a boutique music PR firm has grown into a respected entertainment publicity agency representing talent across multiple areas of the industry.
Over the past ten years, Anchor Publicity has represented more than 100 clients, helping them secure coverage in leading publications, appear on television programs, receive national radio exposure, and reach new audiences through strategic media campaigns. From album and single releases to tour announcements, interviews, and career-defining moments, Anchor Publicity has remained dedicated to creating opportunities and building lasting connections between clients and their fans.
“I started Anchor Publicity with a belief that everyone deserves someone in their corner who truly believes in them,” said Colleen Lippert. “The beauty of owning a business is having the freedom to create the kind of company you believe in. I’ve always been a bit of a non-traditionalist, and I never wanted to build a company that simply followed industry expectations. I wanted to create a place where clients feel supported, valued, and safe in an industry that can often feel competitive and overwhelming. Ten years later, I’m incredibly grateful for every artist, journalist, partner, and supporter who has trusted me to tell their stories. Thank you for believing in me, believing in this company, and being part of this journey.”
At the heart of Anchor Publicity’s journey are the relationships built along the way. One of the most meaningful full-circle moments came in May 2026, when Colleen attended the Season 24 live finale of American Idol alongside longtime client Bucky Covington — an artist she first met nearly two decades earlier when he was a contestant on the show in 2006.
As the entertainment landscape has evolved, Anchor Publicity has continued to grow alongside it. In addition to its work in music, the firm has expanded into the true crime and investigative media space, bringing its expertise in strategic communications, media relations, and storytelling to podcasts, creators, and industry voices exploring important conversations surrounding justice, advocacy, and awareness.
Colleen’s dedication to her clients has earned her significant industry recognition, including three nominations for “Publicist of the Year” at the Josie Music Awards. Colleen has also received the “Best Secret Keeper (Publicist)” award at Nashville’s YEPPIE Awards in 2022 and has been recognized as a “Power Woman” and “Rockstar Publicist” by Authority Magazine.
Beyond client campaigns, Anchor Publicity remains committed to supporting the next generation of entertainment professionals through mentorship opportunities, internship partnerships, and community involvement. The company continues to advocate for causes close to Colleen’s heart, including women’s rights and animal welfare, while using its platform to foster connection, awareness, and meaningful change.
As Anchor Publicity enters its second decade, the firm remains committed to the philosophy behind its slogan, “Anchor Yourself to Something Special” — a reminder that the strongest stories are built through genuine relationships, trust, and a shared passion for making an impact.
