Michael Damian Celebrates
On June 3, 1989, Michael Damian's Rock On reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming one of the defining hits of the era. Now, Damian celebrates that milestone with Rock On '26, a new version featuring legendary rock vocalist John Waite.

Released through Virgin Music Group and produced by Grammy Award-winning hitmakers Tom Weir and Larry Weir, Rock On '26 brings fresh energy to the classic while keeping the attitude and spirit that made the original a chart-topping hit. Decades later, the song continues connecting with audiences worldwide.

The release launches the next phase of Damian's music journey, leading into a full album to follow. The next single, Mixed Emotions, will continue that rollout, with select new music also planned to be featured on CBS' #1 daytime drama, The Young and the Restless, where Damian continues his legacy role as Danny Romalotti.

Gerald Harris' father bought him an acoustic guitar when he was 12 years old, and Gerald has been on a musical journey ever since. His mother taught him to play piano and sing, and in his youth, he was a part of both the youth and adult choirs. When he was 18 Carrie Records offered him an independent recording contract to record a single. After a short-lived R&B career, he went back where he belonged, to God. He's always enjoyed writing, playing, and singing gospel music, and he began doing gospel recording sessions for different choirs, artists, and producers in Nashville and Atlanta. After that, he continued to write and compose, and his wife persuaded him to go back to the studio and do a few demos. This led ultimately to his album, Latter Rain. The album "Hope Faith And Love" almost did not happen because of his bout with colon cancer, "but God brought me through it", says Gerald.
