Canadian west coast born and raised. Window Vain is a four-piece alternative-rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Fusing melodic and punchy instrumentation with old-school production. Window Vain is a project created to hopefully breathe new life and sensibility into this new era of rock bands. Equally inspired by the likes of 90's powerhouses such as Third Eye Blind, Radiohead, and Oasis. Window Vain continues to write music and are currently producing their sophomore album. Robert Ross, a Canadian/Australian singer-songwriter, was born and raised in the small towns of New Brunswick, Canada, where the spirit of folk songs and heartfelt music thrived. His passion for music was ignited early, listening to his mother, Betty, sing classic country tunes around the house. This early exposure to the rich tradition of country music laid the foundation for his artistic journey.
